TOPIC: Time of the Day?

Time of the Day? 9 years ago #131

I dont work out until later, I get home around 8PM and by the time I take a shower & sit down it is about 8:30, At that point I am pretty hungry and feel guilty it is late and I will sleep with what I am about to eat.

So the question is eating at 9PM at night after my workout, is this not advised or is it ok and if so what should I eat and not eat at that hour?

Thanks Everyone..

You have to refuel and regenerate your body after training regardless of that time of night. After an intense workout your muscles need the nutrients to recover. Feed your body lean protein and some carbs and fats in fish oils.

Don't eat light, like eating a piece of fruit, yogurt, or a protein shake. Have a piece of chicken breast, steak, some green vegie, some brown rice or whole grain organic pasta with some fish oils and your fine.

You need to fee and regenerate your body so you can be ready to go for your next days training.

Just don't eat proccessed, sugar food, fast food, bullshit like that.

Feel guilty for NOT feeding your body like the above. Your long term success rides on this.
